I recently completed my PhD in Electronic and Computer Engineering at the University of Limerick, Ireland. My research focused on healthcare IoT security, deep learning-based cyber defence, and edge deployment. The PhD was completed through the thesis-by-publication pathway and supported by five peer-reviewed journal papers.

I obtained an MSc in Computer Science and Engineering from Jagannath University, Bangladesh. A major focus of my research was Internet of Things (IoT) security and Machine Learning (ML). My academic background is grounded in computer science and engineering. Furthermore, I received a scholarship from the Science Foundation Ireland Centre for Research Training in Foundations of Data Science (2022). As a Master of Science student, I achieved the top position in my class. I have presented my research at national and international conferences and technical events, including SeaTech, HEAnet, and CyberUS.

During my PhD, I was affiliated with the Data Driven Computer Engineering research group in the Department of Electronic and Computer Engineering at the University of Limerick, Ireland. As part of my role at university, I was a Graduate Teaching Assistant for courses on Mathematics, Data Engineering and Machine Learning, Cybersecurity, and Log Analysis.

My research interests include IoT, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cybersecurity, and Edge Computing.

Outside of my work, I also serve as a peer reviewer for several IEEE and Elsevier journals, including SoftwareX. In my spare time, I enjoy writing, listening to music, and making videos for YouTube.
